Didn't excessive govt intervention by Hoover and FDR worsen and prolong the Great Depression?
Q. And if so, why is Obama planning on a similar course of action -- when history tells us that government restraint, not massive government intervention, is the best thing for the economy? .

A. I guess we should stay the course that George W has laid for us? Why don't you go back to your corner and let history pass you by.

How will I find an intervention specialist in Secaucus, New Jersey?
Q. I would like to do an intervention for my sister. She doesn't seem to care that she's wasting her time and money (not to mention her life) on alcohol. I think it's worth a try to do an intervention for her so she'll agree to getting herself treated.

A. I think you can find intervention specialists in addiction treatment centers. To find those, use the links below. These will be able to help you. You can also browse through the local phone directory or call your local health services department. I do hope that intervention works for your sister. A lot of addicts fail to admit to themselves that they have a problem, and a large number of them wait until they hit rock bottom before they turn over a new leaf.

why is it humane to euthenize a pet when it is beyond medical or surgical intervention?
Q. and you can't put humans that are in pain and suffering where the diesease has gone beyoned medical or surgical intervention?

A. very good question. Pets are put out of their pain and misery.. This is what i think..They keep the humans alive because it means they spend more time in the hospitals or medical systems...buying medications and using hospital or government programs. It all comes down to money..they like to drain people of every last cent they have..but they don't do that for animals. in other words it's hypocrisy.
