Some drugs have been withdrawn from the market because of risks to the patients. Usually this has been prompted by unexpected adverse effects that were not detected during Phase III clinical trials and were only apparent from postmarketing surveillance data from the wider patient community. This list is not limited to drugs that were ever approved by the FDA. Some of them (Lumiracoxib, Rimonabant, Tolrestat, Ximelagatran and Zimelidine, for example) were approved to be marketed in Europe but had not yet been approved for marketing in the U.S., when side effects became clear and their developers pulled them from the market. Likewise LSD was never approved for marketing in the U.S. From Wikipedia under the

Answered by KNN - Sat Apr 5 23:20:29 2008 Sleeping, not sleeping, Cymbalta and Celxa? Q. I'm a 27 year old female. Three months ago I went to the doctor because I was having difficulty sleeping. I often found myself unable to sleep at night and would get very little sleep for weeks on end. And then, alternately, I would do nothing but sleep for days on end. I asked for a sleeping pill to help straighten out my sleeping patterns, but he suggested that I might be having trouble with anxiety and depression. Rather than give me a sleeping pill, he put me on 60mg of Cymbalta. The first week of the Cymbalta I felt a lot better. He started me on 20mg to get my body used to the drug. I had a lot of nausea, but for the first time in a long time I started to feel motivated again. I started taking long walks and making the… [cont.] Asked by whydotheheathenrage - Thu Aug 6 06:14:12 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. Your medications are definitely not working for you. I also think you may be bipolar it runs in my family, and with your mothers history and your symptoms that may be the case. I don't know enough about a mild medication for bipolar. Have you thought of switching doctors? This one doesn't sound like he knows enough to treat you. Good luck. Answered by humpty dumpty - Thu Aug 6 06:31:17 2009 CA Workman's' Comp; Disaster help!?

Let me totally rewrite my answer. 1. The vast majority of the information you posted is irrelevant to a workers comp claim. 2. The question - is there hope? The answer - not much. 3. Mental issues of any kind are not covered under workers comp. As soon as you start trying to claim them, it red flags your claim. As far as I can tell, your wrist swelled up at work one day, and you waited two weeks to go to the ER to have it looked at. Wrist swelling cause was never diagnosed, and you don't mention if it ever went down, but you don't get disabled over a swollen wrist - you get light duty. 4.
